BELLA ROSA VENUE

A legacy of love, family, and community

When Tricia Bell and her husband, James, first imagined Bella Rosa Venue, they weren’t setting out to build a business. They were looking for a way to honor their daughter. Years later—with a bit of help from Eventective—they’re successfully doing both.

Family and community come together

As a pastor’s wife and mother of six, Tricia was well accustomed to opening her home to others. “We’ve entertained a whole lot in our home,” she said. “I have three dining room tables just to fit everyone.”

But in 2019, after losing their youngest child, Kayleah, just weeks before her 20th birthday, Tricia and her family found themselves searching for a way to channel their loss into something meaningful.

Within weeks of Kayleah’s funeral, the Bell family broke ground on what would become Bella Rosa Venue, inspired by Kayleah’s nature as, in Tricia’s words, a gatherer. Friends donated labor and porta-potties, former mentees helped with metal work construction, and local families came together to help construct the venue on the family’s 37-acre property in Supulpa, Oklahoma.

Making it an ongoing centerpiece of the community would require a different kind of support. That’s where Eventective came in to the picture.

Finding the right partner

After a few years of twists and turns, Bella Rosa Venue’s calendar started to fill up toward the end of 2024. Tricia then realized she needed a more streamlined way to manage inquiries, contracts, and event payments. That’s when she discovered Eventective.

“I don’t even remember how we got connected,” she laughed. “But I signed up, tried it for a few days, and I liked Alyssa, [my account manager]. She was very patient because I’m very tech ignorant!”

Today, Tricia runs everything through Eventective. “I like it because it keeps everything in one place,” she says. “My contracts and everything—I can do them there, and it just simplifies everything for record-keeping.”

When new inquiries come in, she responds quickly—even to those who may not be the right fit. “Even if they’re not my customer, I respond because at least they learn about me,” she explained. “Even if I only serve 2% of the people who come through as leads, I’m letting 100% of them know that I’m here.”

Kayleah’s legacy lives on

That visibility has brought in more bookings this year, and Bella Rosa Venue is already looking ahead to what’s next. “I want to grow and have eight weddings every month,” Tricia said. “That’s probably my max, but it’s a good goal. We need the weddings. We want the weddings. We pray for the weddings because they’re paying the bills. Eventective has been very supportive.”

As Bella Rosa Venue continues to welcome the community through its doors, the Bell family carries forward the love and intention that shaped it from the beginning.

Tricia created the space in honor of her daughter, Kayleah, in hopes of leaving “people better than they found them.” And with every gathering held at Bella Rosa Venue, Kayleah’s spirit continues to live on.
