Yes, Life on Mars is strictly a 21+ venue at all times. All guests must present a valid US or Canadian ID. In compliance with Washington State law, international guests must provide a passport as their only acceptable form of identification.
We offer our semi-private Vinyl Room, which is a separated lounge area next to our vinyl wall and giant mural—perfect for medium-sized gatherings. For large parties of up to 100 guests, a full venue buyout is available.
Yes, groups of up to 10 guests are welcome to reserve a table at no cost. We recommend reaching out to the bar directly to secure your table reservation.
Event reservations in our Vinyl Lounge do not require any food or beverage minimums. A full buyout package are subject to a food and beverage minimum spend plus tax and a 20% gratuity, which varies based on the date, time, and guest count.
To confirm an event booking, we require a refundable deposit of $500. This deposit is fully refundable as long as the event takes place or is cancelled at least 8 weeks prior to the scheduled date.
Because we are a full-service plant-based restaurant, outside food and beverages are not allowed during public hours. For private daytime meetings held before we open to the public (ending by 3:00 PM), outside plant-based catering may be permitted with prior coordination.
To prevent kitchen congestion and ensure a seamless experience for your guests, we kindly require parties of 15 or more to pre-order from our catering menu at least one week prior to the event.
To accurately track minimums and prevent delays, we do not offer individual tabs for large groups. We accept up to a maximum of 4 forms of payment to close out the final bill.
