About Fire House Loft
Fire House Loft is an art gallery and community gathering space located upstairs inside the historic white firehouse on Magazine Street.
The main gallery space covers 1,750 square feet and is flanked on three sides by oversized arched windows, which provide ample natural light for daytime viewings. The gallery is anchored on one end by a towering black fireplace wall. Measuring 18 feet wide by 14 feet tall, this versatile focal point serves as the perfect backdrop for a wide variety of visual installations. The fireplace wall also doubles as the backstop for the gallery's recessed 220-inch vinyl screen. The screen is paired with an HD Epsom projector and 20-speaker surround sound system. The Loft's immersive audio-visual system allows the gallery to easily convert to a unique setting for multimedia presentations and film screenings.
The Loft's open floor plan, modular furniture, and portable mounting walls allow for a variety of curation layouts.
The private Artists' Room can serve as an office, lounge, and dressing room during exhibitions or private functions.
**PLEASE NOTE: our space is located on the second floor of a historic two-story building and we do not have an elevator - stair access only.**
