Simply magical! — An Eventective User from Falls Church, VA

This precious place first came to us way back in 2020 when Fairfax County wouldn't let our sweet teens have prom anywhere within the area. Claire welcomed us out to her beautiful venue with open arms and it was just what our lockdown impacted kids needed to redeem their scrambled high school experience. Cut to 2025 when our oldest daughter and her fiancé were looking for a place to hold their wedding and they immediately knew Cloverdale Barn was just what they wanted to welcome their large group of family and friends. As others have noted the barn provides the perfect blend of rustic, quaint, welcoming and wide open space. We too heard from all our guests how much they loved the location and the warm vibes therein! The bridal cottage was the perfect place for the bride and her attendants to get ready. Claire is fabulous to work with - friendly, personable, professional, helpful, and very open and clear in all her communications. The early June rains found us scrambling over how and whether to move the ceremony into the barn the morning of the Big Day and Claire helped us move things around and strategize. So kind and helpful! The couple was able to exchange their vows under the willows as they had dreamed, but rest assured there is plenty of space both upstairs and in the lower barn area to seat 167 guests and a wedding party of 27! We cannot recommend this magical venue highly enough.

Stunning Venue! — An Eventective User from Warrenton

The venue was absolutely stunning, my husband and I were more than happy with our wedding. It went amazing! Claire was there and helped throughout the whole process and even provided some supplies to help out with the decorations. We were on a tight budget and she had helped so much to meet our needs! Thank you! We are so grateful for her help and so grateful for such a splendid wedding that could’ve only happened if it weren’t for such a beautiful venue/ceremony! My guests had zero complaints!

Cloverdale Barn exceeded our expectations. Wedding planning can be overwhelming and expensive, but Cloverdale Barn as our wedding venue was the best choice I could have made. Claire keeps the barn so maintained. You barely need to decorate the venue in order for it to be "wedding ready" as it has its own natural rustic charm from the fairy tale lights, to the scenery, rocking chairs, arbors, wine barrels, and various charming items that are around. It was so easy to rent the chairs and tables that were already at the venue through Claire. There is an area down by the willow trees for the ceremony so you can have your guests stay at the same location for the ceremony and reception. The bridal cottage is right on site as well so you can get ready at the venue and be there to decorate. Claire is so responsive and emailed with me throughout the entire year leading up to my wedding. Throughout the night of our wedding, I cannot tell you how many compliments and comments I heard from our wedding guests on how awesome the barn was. It is spacious and the sliding barn doors open up to a beautifully lit patio where our guests stood outside and hung out as well. The venue also has many other areas for photo ops for the bride and groom / wedding party for professional photos. Cloverdale Barn really has it all, and Claire and the barn helped to create the most special night of my life!!!! 5/5 stars. Thanks again for everything!!

Best Day of My Life — An Eventective User from Winchester, VA

Our wedding was absolutely perfect! It was gorgeous and just how we planned. Claire went out of her way to help in any way we needed throughout the day and throughout the entire planning process. Be sure to factor in the price of tables, chairs, and other extra items though, as the base rental price is cheaper than you may pay in total for the barn! Totally worth it though!

We had our wedding at Cloverdale Barn on 9/18/21 and it was breathtaking! Claire is great to work with. she is very upfront and open and patient answering questions along the way. The best thing about Cloverdale Barn is that you are really able to express yourself with DIY decor and vendors. In regards to decor, the barn is so beautiful and a little bit goes a long way!

Wonderful experience — An Eventective User from Winchester Virginia

The experience we had with Cloverdale barn surpassed our expectations, we hosted a senior prom for the local high school at Cloverdale. First Claire was the sweetest most easy going person to work with. She was so accommodating and insightful. The grounds were beautiful and at night they turned magical. The interior of the barn needed minimal decorating, a few table cloths and centerpieces and we were good to go. This is your spot if you are looking for rustic and majestic.

We were married at Cloverdale Barn this past weekend and to say that it was the most perfect day would truly be an understatement!! The venue was everything we hoped for but more than that, Claire was beyond helpful, attentive, caring, and treated us like we were the only couple getting married there...even though we know that’s not the case! Planning our entire wedding was simplified with Claire’s guidance and help. Cloverdale Barn is an amazing venue if you're looking for a country style wedding. The interior of the barn is the key point. With all of the string lights turned on it looks amazing. Underneath the barn is the area that they call The Bank. It is great for cocktail hour, as well as a rain location for the ceremony. You have full access to the grounds, and so many opportunities to set up and decorate your way. For the ladies, Cloverdale Barn offers a bridal cottage, where the bridal party is able to relax and get ready before the ceremony. It offers a full bathroom, table and chairs, a bed, and a couch. Cloverdale Barn is a great place to be and feel like you're away from it all, yet it is only several miles from downtown Winchester, VA. This means that there are plenty of services available to out of town guests: hotels, restaurants, etc. The staff at Cloverdale Barn are very polite and helpful, and the venue is very affordable. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get married in Winchester/Frederick County!
