The Whittemore House is a beautiful historic preservation mansion available for weddings and private event rentals of all types. Located in the heart of Dupont Circle, Washington, DC, we’re the perfect spot for your event needs. Nine enchanted rooms of varying size make the space an ideal setting for private parties, weddings and special events. Each is unique in character and beautifully furnished with antiques, art and political memorabilia. The mansion is special in that none of its public rooms are square or rectangular. A charming courtyard also provides a comfortable outdoor setting for guests to enjoy. The Whittemore House is unique in that we offer all-inclusive capabilities. Whatever it is you want for your event, our team can make it happen. We offer in-house catering, premium bar options, A/V systems and rentals (chairs, tables, utensils, linens, etc.) Our Event Coordinator, Ric, will work with you to plan the menu that suits your needs.
