The Historic Wakefield Barn was built in 1934, and is currently a luxury events space and a National Historic Landmark located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Our venue includes a bridal suite 'The Mint Julep', a grooms suite, multiple areas for on-site parking, an elevator, a full state of the art kitchen, and 2 catering prep rooms upstairs, and downstairs.
Our indoor venue space comprises of over 11,500 square feet, 2 built in bars, 32-foot vaulted ceilings, and original wooden floors upstairs. For our outdoor events, we have a 6,000 square foot patio, multiple fireplaces, and our estate's signature Elm overlooking the space.
Event sizes can range from 30 to over 300 people, and our two horses Jackson and Mandatory currently live on site on over 11 acres of pastures.
