Located in the heart of Spartanburg, South Carolina, the Spartanburg Art Museum (SAM) is a perfect example of our city's rich cultural opportunities. Housed on the campus of the Chapman Cultural Center, SAM offers a unique space to hold your next event. From weddings and conferences, parties, and receptions, our spaces offer a variety of opportunities to create a fun and creative experience for you and your guests.
Our 3,000 square foot gallery space holds a maximum capacity of 225 people. Ideal for luncheons, receptions, and conferences, this space is filled year-round with exceptional exhibitions that are sure to enhance any event.
Also available for birthday parties, workshops, and private classes are our two art studios, which include large work tables, counters, and utility sinks.
