Located in a historic building with deep roots in local entertainment, our space is being lovingly restored to continue its legacy as a place for joyful gatherings. Originally opened in 1935 as The Spartan Theatre, the venue welcomed moviegoers for five decades and even hosted well-known country and bluegrass performers on its stage. In 1993, it found new life as the Alleghany Jubilee, becoming a cherished home for old-time music and dancing. As we open our doors once again, we’re honored to carry this spirit forward—creating a welcoming, vibrant space for modern celebrations and unforgettable memories. We offer two event venues, Spartan Theatre and the Lounge and we also offer two guest-suites for rent.
