Caprice Strings melds the beautiful melodies and harmonies of violin, viola, and cello for your special event. Caprice Strings is a locally owned, professional wedding music group based in San Diego, California. We play for weddings and other special events throughout Southern California, including San Diego, La Jolla, Del Mar, and Temecula. With almost 40 years of experience playing across San Diego County at wedding ceremonies and receptions, we have entertained and delighted thousands of patrons, and their guests. Caprice Strings performs extensively as a string trio, but can easily form a string duo or quartet. Solo violin is also an option for more intimate gatherings. We are professional and highly trained classical musicians who play across San Diego and Orange County. Our musical styles range from traditional classical, popular standards, to songs currently on the radio. In one weekend, Caprice Strings can be found playing on the lawn at The Lodge at Torrey Pines, the chapel at Fairmont Grand Del Mar, and the courtyard at The Prado. We have performed at virtually every major hotel in the San Diego area. This perfect combination allows the melody of the violin to soar above, viola fills in the harmony, and the deep bass lines of the cello centers the group.
