Issues With Professionalism and Accuracy — An Eventective User from San Franscisco
I am sharing this to document several issues we experienced with W. Mitch Darnell, Officiant, ForeverInspired. List of concerns: Mitch stated he would arrive one hour prior to the ceremony, but arrived only a few minutes beforehand and was unreachable by phone. This caused unnecessary stress immediately before the event. The agreed upon ceremony length was 20 to 25 minutes, but the ceremony lasted approximately 15 minutes or less and deviated from what we had discussed, despite completing multiple questionnaires. The ceremony also included an unexpected personal reference to his girlfriend that was not reviewed or approved. Additionally, Mitch brought an uninvited guest, his girlfriend Carol Danforth, without notice or permission. She was seated among guests and appears in our wedding photos. Finally, Mitch recorded the incorrect wedding date on our marriage certificate, requiring an amendment and an additional $85 fee. He offered via text to reimburse this cost, but later provided inconsistent explanations. Resolving this error required significant time and effort. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend his services.
