This landmark restaurant provides a familiar but always exceptional menu with an emphasis on excellent service, delicious food and modern design. 23Hoyt was founded on basic principles of hospitality that owner Bruce Carey established in this NW neighborhood in 1990 with famed Zefiro. Our comforting menu reflects what is best in the marketplace and inspired by delicious traditional American dishes with a Pacific Northwest interpretation. In our dramatic two-level dining room your event can be either intimate or convivial. Whether you host a dinner party or cocktail reception in our tree topping mezzanine overlooking the breathtaking dining room, your guests will feel lightened, happy and at home.
For small group events we offer a semiprivate wine table in the mezzanine, which can accommodate from 8-16 guests. If your group is larger, the entire mezzanine can host from 30 to 60 guests. The restaurant is also available for buyouts where you have full reign of the space exclusively, and is available for daytime events as well. All private events require a food and beverage minimum, which varies depending on the date and space requested. Features of our facilities include: customized menus, full bar service with specialty house cocktails extensive wine list and of course our fabulous location in the heart of the bustling Nob Hill Neighborhood. We work exclusively with Sammy’s Flowers in NW Portland. Sammy can provide your group with unique and elegant floral arrangements. The staff at Slide restaurant can cater any event large or small. For smaller groups we have a small space that seat up to 35 guests comfortably. It adjoins our restaurant and can be utilized for baby showers, private brunch events, cocktail parties and private dinner events. You can choose from the 2 event spaces-The Slide Inn or Jade Lounge. Our space seats up to 80 persons in The Slide Inn and another 45 persons in Jade Lounge. For cocktail parties both spaces combined can accommodate up to 160 guests.
