Hey there! I'm Janine, the owner of Paradox Events & Enchanted Florist and Design Co. nestled in the stunning Okanagan Valley. My journey began with dabbling in wedding rentals part-time, which unexpectedly led me into the world of wedding planning 15 years ago. It's been a passion of mine from day one.
Now, I proudly own and operate not one, but two fully WPIC Certified (including Destination Certified) wedding planning, rental, and full-service flower stores. I consider myself a lifelong participant in this industry.
I've had the privilege of collaborating with breathtaking venues, top-notch vendors, and amazing clients. Together, we embark on an event planning journey to craft a truly unique experience that reflects your vision.

The first time I was introduced to Janine was at a community fund raising event. I was attending as a co- host/MC and participant. At this particular venue, her team had transformed a section of an arena lobby and created a gorgeous, bright and very well decorated space which captured the theme of the event remarkably. I heard others commenting on the fabulous job they had been done and that they were enjoying the fantastic flow and unique decor design. Each of the flower arrangements she had provided were incredible displays of her florist skills and became sought after auction items. Her attention down to the fine details at place settings added so much more to our experience. I watched as Janine and her team engage with the crowd. I saw they were well prepared for any request and if something had arose, she could “nip it in the bud” before it blossomed into a bundle of thorns. I admired her ability to adjust to a changing situation.
It was from that event that Janine and I began to adventure with the possibility of working together. I became her go to MC. I was part of her sprouting vision to promote better events and create unforgettable experiences for each guest. The network of connections and services Janine can access is incredible. I considered it an honor to be part of her select team.
Time came that I was hosting my own event. I had only to look to Janine for her help. She sat with me and we spoke about the outcome of my vision. Knowing and trusting in her skills and resources I secured her services. She then set forth, to plan for not 1 but rather 5 different dates, at several locations, in 2 cities. On top of which she personally assisted with the comforts of our international speakers during their tour with us. Her contributions and guidance were a key factor in the success of the entire life changing experience for all who took part.

Helpful and courteous service. Paradox provided more than enough linens for our wedding. We needed to convert the hall from the wedding ceremony to the dining venue after the vows were said, and within half an hour everything was done; it looked fantastic! Thank you so much. It was so worth the money to not have to worry about anything and have things done well.
