BiCE Began in Milan, Italy in 1926, when Beatrice Ruggeri (“Bice” to her family and friends), opened her kitchen to the world. Beatrice truly believed that a great dining experience involved more than good food. With the help of her entire family, her restaurant became a great success as they perfected their Northern Italian style cuisine and service. When Beatrice’s sons, Remo and Roberto came to work in the Milan restaurant, they modified the typical trattoria into a restaurant with International appeal. This was the beginning of BICE Ristorante. Today Roberto’s son Raffaele continues to expand around the world. BiCE is located inside the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel on Universal Blvd. BiCE overlooks the Portofino Bay & Piazza. We are just 3 miles from the Orange County Convention Center. Universal Studios entertainment area, City Walk, is a brief Water Taxi ride from our restaurant if your group is looking for an after-dinner location. Your guests could begin their evening with Cocktails & Appetizers on the Terrace while enjoying the nightly performance of "Musica della Notte", Music of the Night. Italian Opera singers perform from the hotel balcony, across from the BiCE Terrace each evening at dusk.
