Chef Caroline is the best! Not only was her food amazing, but she is a true professional with a great team, and we know we made the right decision to have her cater our wedding. Even though we went to her group tasting initially, she also allowed us to come for a second private tasting to finalize our menu. The delicious creations were a breath of fresh air: interesting taste pairings and a seemingly limitless repertoire. Her dishes are artistically presented--I had guests taking photos of the cheese table! She helped to make our wedding day more enjoyable for us (moderate foodies) and our guests (who range from meat and potatoes, to vegans, to serious foodies). In creating a unique menu that would suit our needs, she kept our tastes in mind, while suggesting ways we could stick to our budget, without trying to up-sell us (another breath of fresh air in the wedding industry). On top of the good food and easy planning process, on the day-of, her team worked efficiently and professionally to make the day go smoothly and seem effortless. She offers so much versatility in her food, and recommended some excellent vendors. We loved the fact that we were able to take care of the liquor and dessert from vendors we wanted. On the day of the wedding, the elevator guy at the venue was late, and this caused a delay in setting up for her team and the DJ, but they pulled everything off smoothly, and what could have been a problem, worked out thanks to them. Her team, especially Monica the maitre'd, are amazing, and their superb service was noticed by the guests. I highly recommend Marcey Brownstein Catering & Events for weddings and large events.
