Professional sound sized to your room, wireless microphones for speeches and toasts, MC announcements, and a planning call before the event to set your timeline, must-play songs and do-not-play list. Setup and breakdown are not billed as event hours.
Yes. You book one DJ, not an agency, and the DJ you book is the DJ who plays. A vetted backup DJ is on call for every date in case of a true emergency.
Holiday parties, client events, galas, product launches, summer parties, award nights and office celebrations across NYC, Brooklyn, Jersey City and the Tri-State. DJ DX has played for luxury retail, law firm and finance clients and handles MC duties for speeches, awards and raffles.
Always. Corporate sets use clean or radio edits, and we agree on a do-not-play list before the event. The music is built around your crowd, from background during dinner to a full dance floor later.
R&B, hip-hop, house, Afrobeats, Amapiano, Reggaeton, Jersey Club, pop and old school, blended to fit the room. DJ DX is also a producer with 100+ released tracks, so he can make a custom intro, walk-in track or company anthem for your event.
For December holiday parties, 6 to 10 weeks ahead; Friday and Saturday dates go first. For other events, 1 to 3 months is ideal. Last-minute requests are welcome; reply times are within 24 hours, so you'll know quickly.
A signed contract and a 50% deposit hold your date. The remaining balance is due on or before the event date. Companies can be invoiced, and a W-9 is available for accounts payable.
Yes. DJ DX plays all five boroughs, New Jersey, Long Island, Westchester, Connecticut, the Hamptons and destination events. Travel is quoted upfront, never added after.
Yes. Add-ons include uplighting and dance floor lighting, a second sound zone for a ceremony or terrace, extra wireless mics, an edited highlight reel, and a live violinist playing over the DJ set (Soul Shades duo).
