This is a must-do location! Located on a spectacular golf course, and with panoramic lake views of Muskegon Lake. The planning staff and people working the event did an amazing job leading up to the event, during the event, and even after with thoughtful follow ups. You will not regret this location.

Muskegon Country Club did a beautiful job helping us plan my parents’ 50th Anniversary celebration. We hosted a special dinner in a private room overlooking the golf course. The drinks, food, cake cutting, and service was top notch. I highly recommend hosting any special event at MCC.

Muskegon Country Club hosted our Admin Team Retreat in August. I commend Jean Ellis and the rest of the staff for their attention to every detail. The space was wonderful, the food was delicious, the lake view was spectacular, and our day went very smooth thanks to all of the staff. Highly recommend them for any event!

We had an excellent experience working with Jean at the Muskegon Country Club. She is easy to work with, even from long distance. Our room was just the right size, had a lovely view of the golf course, and was arranged with easy traffic flow. Although we did not use it, the room does have a nice full bar. The appetizer station and buffet offered high quality food set up efficiently. I appreciated some of the small details that made the room appear tidier and more upscale, such as floor length skirts on the food and additional tables that allowed us to hide the totes we used to bring in decorations.

It was raining on our big day and we ending up last minute deciding to keep our ceremony outside. The staff was very helpful and willing to help keep the ceremony outside regardless of the rain. The food was delicious. The only complaint was getting ready in the locker rooms at the country club since the air conditioning was not working and the temperature was 80 degrees which was not ideal for hair and makeup.

The Muskegon Country Club has hosted our Muskegon County Public School Boards Alliance dinner a couple of times. Working with Jean Ellis is fabulous. Her attention to all of the details is very much appreciated. The staff on the day of the event is always welcoming and willing to accommodate our every need! The space and the beautiful view of the lake......spectacular!

I hosted an event recently in the Lakeshore Ballroom at Muskegon Country Club and it was lovely! Highly recommend this venue for a wedding, social gathering, or even a work function. The room was spacious with amazing views of Muskegon Lake in March, and the ability to add the golf simulator into the room was so fun!

The event space was great for our event and the event manager was so easy to work with. It seemed that they had many new employees working the night of our dinner and there was a lot of confusion with getting everyone's dinner out on time as well as consistently staffing the bar. THE GROUP WAS HAPPY TO COME THERE AND SAID THEY HAD A VERY GOOD TIME. I HEARD THIS FROM MANY OF OUR AQUA WAVE GROUP. We have used MCC (Red Water Events) for several of our executive planning conferences. The venue is roomy, comfortable, and well suited to a small to medium-sized group. The food is very good and we ordered the beverage service. This makes things so easy on us. While there were some bumps with making sure things were setup timely, staff was friendly and very eager to please and rectified any issues as soon as they could. Service these days isn't great, but this venue is an exception. I would definitely recommend this venue and their amazing staff!
