A family owned hotel located within the shadows of Montpelier’s Golden Dome, on historic State Street in Vermont’s capital city of Montpelier. The Bashara family has owned this historic property since 1994 making constant improvements to the benefit of our travelers. Our most recent improvements in June 2020 features a partnership with the Hilton family of hotels creating the Capitol Plaza Hotel Montpelier, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. This full hotel update included the renovation of all 74 hotel rooms and public space and is an integral part of Vermont’s capital. Tapestry properties, Hilton’s newest brand is aimed at combining the uniqueness of an independent hotel with the benefits of being a full-service Hilton property.
