Juan’s work is slightly directed but he believes your wedding is more than a series of perfectly posed photos — it’s a celebration filled with joyful moments, happiness, and love. That’s what his primary focus will be when documenting your wedding. During Juan’s journey as a photographer in Los Angeles he’s had the opportunity to work in commercial as well as wedding photography. His education in journalism and background in commercial photography means that he brings a unique, professional, and intimate perspective to the camera. He will capture your story with a combination of digital and classic film cameras. Juan’s documentary approach is unposed, joyful, and full of candid moments. Juan’s wants couples to remember their day with photos filled with raw emotions that will be remembered for generations. He will mix the documentary approach with his experience in light to best document your day. Juan documentary style is controlled and spontaneous at the same time. His favorite part of his work is meeting different couples to learn their unique stories - it's important for him to understand a couple's culture, traditions, and values to best capture who they are. Film Wedding Photos Were Incredible! - An Eventective User from San Diego, CA

I cannot say enough good things about Juan Rodriguez Photography! Juan shot film photos alongside a digital photographer at our wedding. Juan's photos are absolutely beautiful - organic, artistic and distinct. They are some of my favorite photos from the day. The best thing about Juan though is his attitude. His positivity, calmness and proactiveness made a real difference without how I felt on my wedding day. Though our digital photographer had never met him before our wedding, she commented how much she enjoyed working with him. Many of our bridal party made similar comments. He was always looking for ways to help, whether holding bouquets or giving my veil movement outside the frame. Besides being a wonderful photographer, Juan is just the type of person you want with you on your wedding day. I can't recommend him enough.
