Our one-of-a-kind location underneath a canopy of trees, next to the water, creates a picturesque celebration everyone will remember. Our property is a beautiful six-acre event space, with two acres of lighted forest along the river.

Retreat at the River (RR) is a scenic venue tucked behind Henry Horton State Park. The beautiful outdoor space was beyond perfect for our mid-October intimate family wedding. We enjoyed the open space for our ceremony and reception, seeing the changing of the leaves, having the river behind us, and so much more! Mrs. Sarah was informative, patient, accommodating, answered many questions and provided wonderful ideas! On our wedding day, Mrs. Sarah and Mr. Tres were the best as they helped reset due to rain coming right before the wedding. RR also has an air bnb which was perfect for our long distance family members! We happily give RR ten stars and look forward to working with them again for family get togethers and more!
