Reflection Studio has photographed weddings across Northern New Jersey for over 20 years, and this one still stood out. The light in September hits The Tides Estate gardens in a way that only happens for about three weeks a year, warm, low, golden right through cocktail hour. Somewhere in the middle of it, the groom picked up a guitar to settle his nerves while the ring bearer sat nearby eating a cookie, completely unbothered by the whole thing. Nobody staged that. Nobody had to. That's the whole reason this work still feels worth doing, real moments, at a venue built for them.
