We got married at the Stan Mansion on October 2nd, 2011. The staff is very helpful and truly want your wedding to go well. Some of the perks of this venue are: you can bring your own booze (pretty rare in Chicago); There's a recommended vendor list, but the owner will allow you to go off list unless she's had a bad experience with the vendor previously; Again, staff seem much more like helpful friends than business people. My only real negative on the Stan Mansion is that there's no kitchen! Because of this your caterer has to bring in a lot of equipment, and that can get pricey.

The Stan Mansion is a great place to go after you get married if you want your wedding be futuristic, rather then stuck in the past. The venue is very clean and very fast. For example, Me and my newlywed bride only had to wit about 10 minutes when we requested catering service for our room. Although this did not really matter the elevator in the building was one of the fasted that I have used in my entire life. The overall felling of the building was phenomenal , I felt like I stepped into 2100. Chicago is known for being corrupt, noisy, dirty and unfriendly. However, the building was like an oasis as it was very quiet, the people in it were very polite and it was exceptional clean. I didn't think the city of Chicago could be so clean. In fact it the venue was clean then the motels I once went to do business in new York. The most amazing thing about the experience was the friendliness of the people who worked there, not only were they very polite, they were very fast at doing a great job. I have one of the guys who worked there a tip of over 100 dollars. I kind of regret it but I think I gave out close to 300 dollars worth of tips when I was there, which is 10 percent of the 3000 dollar price tag that the experience cost for about 5 days. Overall the venue was very clean, Modern, and reasonable priced.

I went to the Stan Mansion for a wedding about two weeks ago. When I arrived I figured It'll be the same wedding ceremony like all the other millions I've been to. However, this one was different. I think it was because, how beautiful the Stan Mansion was, it reminded me of something out of a fairy tale. Upon arrival the footmen escorted me to my area where I was able to see the glamour of the ball room and the decorations where green, and a baby blue. I think the venue itself out did the weddings. I would totally recommend this venue, the Stan Mansion teamed up with some of the most amazing wedding vendors in all of Chicago for an unforgettable wedding event, where you can have a 30 minute dream wedding for only $ 800 that day and head off to your honeymoon. A quick wedding indeed, but it is perfect for those who don't mind strangers spectating from the crowd, and if you want your privacy there were ceremonies that were closed for about $100.00 more. I attend weddings across the country, and I must say that is one of my favorite venues. I know that you would feel the same.

My recent experience at Stan Mansion in Chicago IL in the Logan Square neighborhood was a lavish, satisfying, beautiful experience. The staff really took their time in answering my concerns and questions. They are very courteous The owner is passionate about her work and really puts in a lot of time and effort to make sure that things are the way that you want them. The architecture of Stan Mansion is divine. Its glorious and worth hundreds of pictures. Stan Mansion has recently refurbished their interior. You can tell they put in a lot of hard work to make Stan Mansion unique and special. There is no competition, the next time I need a location I'm choosing Stan Mansion. Stan Mansion is the perfect spot for any gathering whether it be a corporate event, wedding or party.

Opulant Building for a Great Price — An Eventective User from Chicago, Illinois

On the outside, the Stan Mansion looks small and quaint, yet very high end. The white building boasts exquisite trim and a brilliant walkway. On the inside, though, the venue is huge. There is plenty of room for the reception area and guests as well as a private balcony for the wedding party to get ready in. This balcony can also be used for guests, but we closed it off for a more private feel. Also, the stage is great. Surrounded by a pretty large dance floor, the stage can be accessed from all areas of the room. There are also separate, private lounge areas to set up cocktail hour, cloak rooms, and a photo booth if necessary. Also, there is a private area that can be used for the ceremony, making the hall even more functional. Also, the staff was great. The coordinators gave us a wide variety of choices for decor and arrangements. They ensured that everything was running smoothly before and during the event as well as kept me up to date on my price range. Overall, the serving staff was lovely too. From the bussers to the bartenders, the staff was well mannered and skilled at their respective jobs. The only complaint I have about the Stan Mansion in Chicago, though, is that it is a bit pricey. Compared to other places in Chicago, it is reasonably priced. However, for a better deal it might be best to get married outside of the city since it is much more reasonably priced. Also, the sound quality was lacking. Guests in the back could not hear the music well or what the DJ was saying. Overall, though, it is a beautiful reception area.

One of the wedding venue holders that i have dealt with or have been a part of within the last three years is the stan Mansion. The stan mansion is a beautiful wedding hall, with a very large dinner hall and a seperate ceremony hall. My brother Eric was the one getting married, so according to him the price was very good for what was included in the package. The open bar lasted 5 hours, the meals included a three course dinner with your choice of red or white wine. The also included the dj, and the photographer, and according to my brother eric they also gave him a discount on the entire package. Once we got to were we were at the ceremony everything went very smooth,and the staff helped us out by seating the guest, and providign security. After the ceremony was over, the owner of the Stan Mansion came out to the venue to congradulate the bride and groom, and he also announced that the drinks was on the house for the rest of the night rather than the bar at the scheduled time. So over all i highly recommend the Stan Mansion for your wedding venue because the customer service was great and the staff were very acommodating.
