Light House brings young people together to make movies. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit filmmaking center dedicated to helping students develop their vision and show their work. We believe in the importance of collaboration and community, the creativity of young minds, and the lasting benefits of our hands-on mentor-based approach to teaching the art of filmmaking. Light House is located in the Vinegar Hill Theatre in Downtown Charlottesville, VA. Our space includes a 183 seat movie theatre, two studios, library, and rooftop terrace. The Vinegar Hill Theatre is ideal for screenings, film production, rehearsals, meetings, special events, and more!
