Blue Door is an intimate cocktail lounge and private event venue hidden behind its signature secret blue door in Charlotte’s South End. With a moody, elevated atmosphere and multiple flexible spaces, the venue works beautifully for cocktail receptions, corporate gatherings, celebrations, rehearsal events, intimate dinners and full-venue buyouts. The Main Bar features a full-service bar with 12 seats, seven tables arranged along a curved banquette, a baby grand piano, small DJ booth and open standing space surrounding an elbow-height bar top. The tables can be rearranged to create different layouts and accommodate groups of varying sizes, from intimate seated gatherings to larger cocktail-style receptions. Hidden behind another secret door, the Private Dining Room offers a more intimate and customizable event space. It features a Samsung Frame TV for presentations or custom displays, a finishing kitchen allowing clients to bring in their own caterer, and curtains that can be drawn to make the room feel even more private. The space can be configured with one or two long or shorter dining tables, or with five cocktail-style tables with or without bar stools, making it adaptable for private dinners, meetings, presentations and cocktail receptions.
