Liquidcanvas Studios opened online in 2000 as a part-time freelance business supporting customers by fusing strategic thinking, imagination, creative design and technology to implement visually appealing and user friendly websites and multimedia solutions. While my experience in photography evolved over the years as an integral part of my business, my unique blend of style has developed from a broad range of creative and photographic experience associated with digital graphic and web design. It is a journey that I embrace and hope others will enjoy along the way.
What I can say is that I really love what I do and I spend a lot of time refining, perfecting and even obsessing over my creative works. I am always learning new techniques and truly believe it’s not the camera that tells the story but the eye of the person who captures the light and shadow within it.
What’s in the name Liquidcanvas? The name was born while viewing one’s life as a complete work of art, the ink that some we carry on their skin and the fluid nature of the people we meet during the events that shape our being. Originally developed as a project to capture the beauty of art on human skin, the concept grew to be a freelance extension of my skill set hence the business name, Liquidcanvas Studios. While some may say that my “professional” experience as a photographer has not been that long ago, the path that led me to photography has spanned my lifetime and the journey ahead of me will define my own “liquid-canvas.”
