Event Space Rental Terms – Summary
Reservation & Payment:
To reserve your date, a deposit is required. Full payment must be made before the event unless otherwise agreed. Credit card transactions incur a 5% fee.
Rental Time:
Your rental includes setup, event, and cleanup. Additional time will be billed in hourly increments. Early drop-offs or late pickups must be pre-approved.
Changes & Overtime:
Same-day changes are not guaranteed. Overtime is charged hourly unless otherwise arranged in advance.
Cancellation Policy:
More than 3 months before event: Full refund of deposit
3 to 2 months before event: 50% refund of deposit
Less than 2 months before event: Deposit is non-refundable
Cleaning & Damage:
Space must be returned in the same condition. A minimum $200 cleaning fee applies if not properly cleaned. Any damage beyond normal wear and tear will be billed to the renter.
Conduct:
No smoking or illegal activities. Renter is responsible for guests and staff behavior. We reserve the right to end events that violate these rules.
Insurance:
Businesses and productions may be required to provide a Certificate of Insurance naming the venue as additional insured.
Liability:
Use of the space is at renter’s own risk. Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the venue for any injury, loss, or damage.
Force Majeure:
We are not liable for cancellations or disruptions due to events outside our control (weather, power outages, etc.).
Governing Law:
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York.
