Gran Morsi, named after the Italian word for “bites,” epitomizes elegant simplicity. This airy and convivial Tribeca restaurant specializes in boldly-flavored italian fare with a strong focus on small and shared plates, many of which are cooked in the brick oven. Gran Morsi provides both downtown manhattan residents and visitors with a dining experience and event space fit for whatever they’re in the mood for, whether it’s a special occasion celebration, an intimate evening or a casual event with friends. We are able to host both wedding ceremonies and receptions within our space. Typically we hold a ceremony on our ground floor space (shown above), and a reception in our event space. Midtown Loft & Terrace is an (8,400 sq ft) event space located in an upscale doorman building on Manhattan's prestigious 5th Avenue. With high ceilings, polished oak floors, new marble bathrooms, natural sunlight, windows on four sides, and gorgeous city views, it is a superb venue for weddings. We are proud to offer several new upgrades. A retractable enclosed rooftop so the Terrace can be utilized year round, a dedicated modern lobby, and a newly designed private elevator opening out to the Terrace. The Loft (5,000 sqft) has a fully equipped kitchen, ottomans, couches, coffee tables, a bridal room, adjustable lighting, coat check room and ficus trees. Two passenger elevators, and one freight elevator open on the floor. Lounge furniture and an illuminated bar are available at no additional cost. Our (4,400 sqft) Terrace is landscaped, and offers breathtaking views of the Empire State Building, the famous Marble Collegiate Church, the Church of Transfiguration and Garden, as well as other stunning views of the Manhattan skyline.
