Great food - An Eventective User from Boston, MA

Attended an event here sponsored by the company. The reception hour was held in one of the rooms next to the Main Room. There were two food stations; sliced roast chicken and a beef brisket with mashed sweet potato served in a cast iron casserole! The beef was so tender and the I love the buttery mashed sweet potato. For desserts there were vanilla and chocolate cupcakes topped with caramel swirl and mocha coffee beans. Even the tea they served was really fancy. It was the pyramid shaped tea bags from the company, Tea Forte. For the awards ceremony everyone was wisked to the Great Room next door. My fellow attendees and I were fortunate enough to sit in the front row. I was completely awed by the panoramic glass wall overlooking the Boston skyline. As the sun was setting the view was more beyond amazing. It's primarily used for corporate and personal occasions. The space is gorgeous. It has very high ceilings and huge windows offering a tremendous view of the city and waterfront. It was by sheer serendipity that I was there on one of the most beautiful days of the year for a business function. I can't express eloquently enough just how amazing this view is. I spent much of my early evening just staring out the windows sipping my glass of wine. The dining area is on the main floor and there is a staircase to an open bar upstairs with several high tops scattered about for the event. The chefs and servers bent over backwards to keep people happy, and to keep their plates full. Overall everyone was fantastic - even the coat check people were cheerful (hard to imagine given that they were dealing with several hundred very intoxicated guests). Overall, a great venue - first class all the way - the views and the ambiance are incomparable!
