Skates on the Bay is Berkeley's premier destination restaurant specializing in fresh seafood, oysters and sushi accompanied by a resplendent bay view. Skates is the perfect setting for your rehearsal dinner, anniversary party or wedding and baby showers. Corporate events held at Skates become occasions your guests and clients will talk about for years to come.
Our private dining room, aptly named "The Bay View Room", seats up to 70 guests for a plated, sit down dinner and can accommodate up to 80 for a standing cocktail reception. If your group is more than 80 please ask us about a complete or partial restaurant buyout.
