The VORTEX is a nonprofit live theatre venue with a nationally certified butterfly garden and bar located on the East Side of Austin. Known as a hidden gem of old Austin vibes, our space offers seating outside with ample sun shades, surrounding by native butterfly plants. A full bar is available for events, and our indoor black box theatre seats 100 people for presentations, performances, film screenings, and more.
We are also home to Patrizi's Italian Food Truck, an award-winning truck with homemade pasta, sauces, meatballs, and more. Catering available based on availability.
