With 6 different locations available across our campus, we offer complete versatility for creating a stunning and unforgettable wedding. We have all the facilities you need for everything to support your day, including a park for the ceremony, a beautiful, world-class auditorium for your reception, restaurant fine-dining for rehearsal dinners and wedding breakfasts, an exclusive club for late night parties, and matchless, glamorous private greeting and dressing facilities in the theater. Facilities include: The Lounge, The Theater, Utopia Soundstage, Bear Cafe, The Deck, and Bearsville Park. Bearsville Theaters’ newly restored 18th Century “Dutch Barn” is a state-of-the art venue and theater space for weddings, concerts and productions. Our spectacular, yet intimate, Mid-Century Theater offers a grand setting for a stunning wedding reception. Your guests will experience an all-round immersive experience of sound and light while surrounded by our beautiful décor. Majestic lighting from five magnificent chandeliers and two art deco stage lights adorn the room and create a truly impressive theatrical experience to make your wedding reception perfect in every way. Can accommodate 150 dinner seating and 350 for concert seating. Full size stage and backline available. In addition inside the theater there are 3 green rooms, perfect for the wedding party and getting ready. These include restrooms with showers, a full kitchen, and laundry facilities.

Bear Cafe next door to the Bearsville Theater, is the perfect venue for your rehearsal dinner, wedding breakfast, an intimate dinner for two, or a family gathering prior to, or after, the big day. All or part of our 66-seat restaurant — and an additional 40 seats on the exterior Creekside patio may be reserved. Large windows overlooking the Sawkill Creek provide lovely views of the stream and our adjoining dining area completes the restaurant’s cozy ambience. Chef Josh Rajala creates delicious and indulgent cuisine that is seasonal, sustainable and locally-sourced. We also offer stunning handcrafted cocktails and an extensive and carefully curated wine list. Our 40’ x 15’ Theater Deck adjoins the Lounge and is the perfect space for friendly informal gatherings of 30 people (seated) or up to 50 (standing). The deck overlooks the Sawkill Creek and is named after two old friends — John Sebastian and Fred Neil — who hung out here in the 70’s, writing songs and making music together. John still enjoys the deck to this day.
