You and your guests will love these charming and elegant locations. Facilities and Capacity The Winchester Opera House is centrally located in the heart of Bluegrass Country in downtown Winchester. Built in 1873, the venue offers luxurious options for you to choose from. The Grand Ballroom has 3,500 square feet of elegance with 16-foot ceilings, original wooden flooring, and cascading windows. It can accommodate up to 300 people for a cocktail-style event and 250 guests for a wedding reception with a dance floor. The Ballroom also has an exclusive VIP parlor, which the wedding party can use. The Fireside Room offers 850 square feet of space and can seat up to 120 people for a ceremony. This capacity can be increased to accommodate larger parties when added to the Ballroom. Our third floor has a Bridal and Groomsmen Suite showcasing our decor showroom. With over 4,000 sq. ft., you can relax and enjoy your day of festivities in the Suites. The Suites offer private restrooms for both Bride and Groom, four hair and makeup stations, a kitchenette for breakfast and lunch, ample seating for both bridal parties, private sound systems in both suites, air hockey, darts, and a 70 in. TV for the Groomsmen to catch a game on. The Historic backdrop offers many photography opportunities with a copious amount of natural light, beautiful decor, and antique furniture. Our Historic Church is a non-denominational setting perfect for your wedding ceremony. You will exchange vows on a raised stage, surrounded by cascading light. It can accommodate up to 200 guests comfortably in its wooden pews. The church is one block from the Opera House and easily accessible to the Grand Ballroom for receptions. Moundale Manor is our outdoor ceremony location. If choosing Moundale Manor for your ceremony location, we offer our Historic Church as an inclement weather backup. We are one of a handful of Kentucky locations offering a same-day inclement weather backup. Moundale Manor is a 38-room exclusive event space that provides a romantic atmosphere for guests to mingle during cocktail hour and the wedding reception. You're guaranteed breathtaking photos with architecture that features balconies and large porches. This location is charming and has plenty of space for your wedding events.
