Jengo’s Playhouse is a community cinema and event space located in the heart of the Soda Pop District on Princess Street in downtown Wilmington. This multi-media arts facility hosts a wide variety of events including film screenings, meetings, weekend retreats, birthday parties, and more. The facility includes a stylish lobby with full service concessions featuring hot popcorn, soft drinks and candy. The centerpiece of the venue is a 69 seat cinema with state of the art DCP projection and fabulously refurbished theatre seats that were salvaged from UNC-Chapel Hill's Memorial Hall Auditorium. The Jengo's Playhouse bar in the back of the building opens up onto a generous outdoor space that is connected to three residential buildings which are also available for rent!
