High Country Art Center - Let's Be Artsy! Located just 33 min from Boone, 44 min from Wilkesboro, 42 min from Sparta and only 15 min from Lansing. We are an art gallery with local artists, we have two large art classrooms and 3 artists spaces. It is an open art space that holds events and classes. The space is full of art and can be open to accommodate a podium and chairs for 100 people or tables and chairs for 100 people. The space is well lit and has access to two restrooms, a full kitchenette with a refrigerator, bar and other amenities. You rent the space for a meeting/event , 40+ people with tables and chairs - 100 people without tables - includes what you need for a meeting/event, whiteboard and overhead projector if needed, $150 for 2 hrs. and $225 for 3 hours (includes 1/2 hour set up and cleanup before and after) - you are welcome to bring snacks - I also have light snacks and drinks for sale. (No outside wine allowed, must purchase from HCAC) We have hot plates, bowls, serving dishes and silverware. The room has art and is designed as the studio.
