Recommendations

Great venue for a variety of events! — An Eventective User
We used the lower level of the Snowden House as the venue for my daughter's college graduation celebration. It was the perfect size- not too big or too small for our group. The pricing was appropriate and affordable. There was ample parking and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The large kitchen was equipped with serving pieces and utensils that we could use in place of the items we forgot to pack. The space had a coat closet, sitting area, and private restroom for our guests. We were even able to take some beautiful photos of my daughter in front of the historic building after the event. I would definitely recommend the Snowden House as a venue for a variety of different celebrations.
Beautiful relaxing venue — An Eventective User from Chebanse, IL
I am from Illinois and needed to plan a rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding. The Grout Museum responded to all my questions immediately. Other places either responded weeks later or not at all. Or if I asked an additional question - they didn't get back to me for over two weeks. First, Maddy helped me with the information and then Jackie took over after Maddy left. She gave good advise and helped me plan a memorable event. I received many compliments on the food and venue. It was such a relief and was a beautiful day.
