British classical guitarist Louise Southwood is a passionate musician with an eclectic repertoire of Classical and Latin music which spans many centuries…from the ancient to the modern.
Her technically and emotionally precise performances have
enchanted a diverse audience around the world.
Louise holds a Bachelor of Music honours degree from the
prestigious Royal College of Music in London where she studied
with Carlos Bonell and Gary Ryan, and since then has taught and performed in several continents.
She is now based in Victoria, Canada where she maintains a full performing schedule and teaches at The
Vancouver Symphony Orchestra School of Music.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Louise Southwood play at our wedding, and she was incredible. She showed up early, stayed longer than expected, and was there the entire time with such a calm and professional presence.
She played me down the aisle and handled all the ceremony music. I gave her full creative control for the rest, and she absolutely nailed it. Her music felt so classic and emotional, like something out of a beautifully scored TV show. It was everything I hoped it would be and more.
Louise was also incredibly kind, dressed impeccably, and fit in seamlessly with our ceremony. She even took the time to make sure the acoustics were right for the space, which made a big difference.
