Vancity Officiant is a Vancouver-based wedding ceremony practice led by Kit Chan and Kevin Leung. Since 2014, we have officiated more than 2,100 weddings across British Columbia, including legal signings, elopements, multicultural weddings, bilingual ceremonies, and full wedding celebrations.
Our approach begins with the relationship rather than a fixed script. We focus on what genuinely belongs in each ceremony, how the people and relationships around the couple should be recognized, and how to create a ceremony that feels clear, natural, and well guided without adding elements simply because they are expected.
Ceremonies are available in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. We have extensive experience working with cross-cultural families, can incorporate Chinese tea ceremony traditions where appropriate, and welcome pet-inclusive moments through Pawfect Witness™.
