Our rooms range from intimate 6–8 person boardrooms up to our Theatre, which seats 175 (240 with bleacher seating). Mid-size rooms typically hold 20–100 people depending on setup style (theatre, classroom, boardroom, pods, hollow square, or U-shape). See our room selection page for exact capacities per room.
Rooms are booked by session: 8am–12pm, 1pm–5pm, or 6pm–10pm. Rates are listed per 1, 2, or 3 sessions and include the cost of a data projector. Exact rates vary by room — see our current rate sheet for details. https://robsonsquare.ubc.ca/event-conference-planning/
Room rental includes guest wireless internet, whiteboards, a ceiling-mounted data projector and screen, on-site concierge (event services), and basic room setup (unskirted tables, podium and chairs).
Yes. Beyond what's included, we offer add-on equipment such as microphones, videoconferencing cameras, audio mixers, laptops, and presentation aids, plus dedicated technical support. Our event planners can also help coordinate with your preferred AV supplier for larger productions.
Yes. Several of our rooms can be combined for larger conferences (e.g. C.400/C.420), and our compact breakout rooms are ideal for booking alongside a main event space for concurrent smaller sessions.
Yes, through our approved external catering partners. Menus are available on request through your event planner.
