About Scott Jacobs

Scott Jacobs is an event musician and DJ based out of Vancouver, Canada. He is a singer-songwriter who has performed at hundreds of weddings over the years with his signature sound of acoustic guitar, piano and vocals. He has traveled the world with his music, first studying music at Vancouver Island University, then performing on cruise ships for a number of years, recording three studio albums, touring across Australia, and even having his original songs played on the radio. Services Offered Scott can be booked as a solo performer, using just his voice, his guitar and a keyboard to entertain wedding parties. His repertoire can be custom fit to the couples tastes as it spans all the way back to the Elvis, Sinatra, and Beatles hits of the 50's and 60's, up to the pop music of today, and everything in between. If the clients are looking for a bigger sound, Scott can also perform in a band arrangement as a duo or a trio and get the guests out of their seats and dancing. Scott provides all of his own equipment for events, including lights, sound equipment, and microphones that can also be used for speeches. Other Services For the ultimate event package, Scott's live music offerings can be combined with him also offering DJ services. In this scenario, Scott is often booked as a live performer for the start of the event or wedding, and then transitions into DJ'ing the reception, and keeping the dance floor rocking all night. This is an ideal setup for when couples are looking to simplify their entertainment booking process and just hire one professional who can take care of everything. Lastly Scott is willing to learn new songs for weddings and events, which means he'd be able to perform a song that is unique and special to the couple.
