The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts is a premier regional arts center located in downtown Valdosta, GA, offering a wide variety of art experiences to citizens of Valdosta, Lowndes and surrounding Georgia counties, and North Florida. Our seven light-filled art galleries in 17,000 square feet of space offer an unique venue for any special occasion. In addition, we have a state-of-the-art kitchen on-site for any culinary need, and we work with many local caterers and other vendors. The Center has become an integral gathering place for social, business and nonprofit functions and special events.

People Often Ask

The base rental fee for the galleries is $1,200. Please note that additional costs apply for equipment rental, security (if alcohol is served), and a refundable damage deposit.
The base rental fee covers the use of our gallery space. Equipment such as tables, chairs, and A/V equipment are available at an additional cost. We do not provide decoration or food services.
Our venue can comfortably accommodate up to 150 seated guests or up to 500 guests for a standing reception.
We recommend contacting us directly to inquire about the availability of your desired event date. If your preferred date is not available, we are happy to discuss alternate dates with you.
Yes, a deposit of half of the $1,200 rental amount is required to secure your desired event date.
Turner Center Galleries is a versatile space perfect for a wide range of events, including birthday parties, wedding ceremonies and receptions, anniversary celebrations, vow renewals, religious services, holiday parties, class reunions, and more.
Yes, if you plan to serve alcohol at your event, an additional security fee of $40 per hour will apply.
