How Exotic Enterprises Event Planning Came to Be..... In 2013 while working in the financial field my company was bought out by a larger firm. My job was outsourced to a temp agency and I was left searching for something new and exciting in life that would meet my needs as a single mom. Exotic began due to the fact that friends of mine knew how well I planned parties for my daughter's birthdays and solicited me to help them plan their children's events since I was now "free." Another friend of mine suggested social events for singles and I found a niche market that has allowed me to work part-time and make a full-time income as a for-profit event planner. As a volunteer for many charities, I have also had a plethora of experience helping to plan charitable events. Prior to event planning, I managed and worked for global businesses in both the financial field as well as the retail marketplace. I initiated change and was able to take positive action for any company or organization I have ever worked for throughout my career. I would not have been able to attain the success that I did within the industry if not for my keen ability to identify and retain quality employees who exceeded the needs and expectations of my employers and clients. I believe in the highest level of customer service and professionalism at all times. I bring added value to any client is through always looking out for their best interest first and foremost in every situation. All of these character traits are present in my event planning business. The breath of my experience is in communicating effectively with clients or on their behalf. This has been an asset to all of the companies I have been employed by as well as the organizations I have chosen to affiliate myself with.
