Our historic venue was built in 1901 and has been revitalised to become the perfect backdrop for your big event, whether it's a wedding, corporate meeting, or holiday celebration. Brides and grooms have the option to make the ceremony unique to them with access to the distinctive property all day. The house has a spacious ballroom, main room, bridal room, bar and caterer’s prep kitchen. Family and friends from out of town will enjoy having space to relax and meet prior to the wedding. My husband and I booked the Governor’s Row House for our wedding and we were not disappointed! The owners had wonderful energy and were so helpful and easily available (via phone, email, or in person) in order to coordinate our event! (They were also very patient with a couple undecided lovebirds.) They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, which included ideas for the best table arrangement, giving advice on our DIY linens, and even opening the ballroom doors for me to make the grand entrance down the aisle. The ceremony setup was breathtaking and the reception setup was no different. They switched the ballroom from the ceremony to reception (we had around 100 guests) while we took formal pictures outside and guests enjoyed cocktail hour inside in the spacious sitting areas and bar area. There was ample parking and the natural light inside the ballroom was great! The ladies were able to get ready upstairs and the fellas enjoyed getting ready and being guys in one of the rooms on the main floor. I am so happy that we booked our wedding at this venue and would do it all again at the Governor’s Row House!
