Wellswood derives its name from the Wells family who originally purchased the 640 acres on which the community sits. Founded as the first suburb of the City of Tampa after the World War II, Wellswood remains a middle-class neighborhood that strives to provide a family friendly atmosphere. We have a budget friendly event hall, perfect for showers, graduations, business meetings, retreats and small weddings. There is a full kitchen available and wi-fi along with ample parking. We are centrally located in Tampa off of Rome and Wishart.
