The Obici House is a historic mansion inside Sleepy Hole Golf Course, in Suffolk, Virginia. It was once home to the founder of Planters Peanuts; Amedeo Obici and his wife Louise.
The driveway is flanked by two lions, from Paris. The 18th green sits behind the house and provides guests with a spectacular sunset views on the Nansemond River. This venue is filled with chandeliers, original stained glass windows, Greek columns, tile and woodwork. Wedding ceremonies may be held at the Pergola, with it's scenic water front background; under the house portico framed by Greek columns, or one of several indoor locations.
The Obici house has many modern amenities and a bar area. Extras available on site include: linens, glassware, dinner plates & utensils. A spacious and beautifully decorated Bride's dressing suite is located on the top floor. Ample parking and handicap accessible.
