They let you choose where on their 107 acre property you want to be married and for us they even assisted with setup. We loved the views and the grassy fields for our pictures. Can't beat this place price wise, they include just about everything you can think of. Glad we got to have our special day there, nothing like Canaan Springs in the Northern Virginia area.

Canaan Springs in Star Tannery, just outside of Winchester, holds so many precious memories for me. First my daughter was married there, then my son, then my mom remarried later in life there as well! What a wonderful place this was for all of these unique celebrations. The barn here holds a sort of-rustic elegance that you can't find anywhere else. Not to mention the land is stunning. The long farm tables included with weddings allowed for family style seating which was so quaint and just fun. I can't say that I know of another venue like Canaan Springs with all the property that they offer and so many different options for ceremony sites; pond-side, fields with mountain views, woods, the barn, the barn deck over-looking the farm... Canaan Springs is exceptional for many reasons, anyone who tours can see that!

What really sets Canaan Springs apart is the flexibility and care the owners show. We booked their Signature Package, which gave us exclusive access to the venue and the on-site Airbnb farmhouse for the whole weekend. It was such a gift to have the space to relax, get ready, and truly enjoy time with our friends and family without feeling rushed. The farmhouse is stunning—clean, spacious, and filled with charming modern touches. The ceremony site options were gorgeous, and we loved being able to choose a ceremony spot that felt meaningful to us. The barn was perfect for our reception, with warm lighting, handmade farm tables, and plenty of room for dinner and dancing. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful everything was!
