Amazing Wedding Venue — An Eventective User from Montrose

We celebrated our daughter and now son-in-law’s wedding weekend at Ragged Mountain Events on September 4th and 5th, 2026, and we could not have chosen a more perfect venue. We booked the venue for the entire weekend so our friends and family could truly enjoy the celebration without having to worry about traveling home after a late-night wedding. We first met with Steve and Rhonda in October 2025 to discuss our options, and after our very first visit, we knew we had found the perfect location. More than that, we immediately felt like we were visiting with longtime friends. The booking process was incredibly easy. Anytime we had a question, Rhonda was prompt, helpful, and willing to assist us with anything we needed. From the very beginning, we felt completely taken care of. When we arrived on Friday, the grounds, barn, cabins, and everything else were ready for us. We barely had to do anything other than unload the items we had brought. The venue provided tables, chairs, linens, extra kitchen supplies, and so many of the little things that made the entire weekend easy and stress-free. The apartment provided for the bride and groom was perfect. It gave the bride and her team a beautiful, comfortable space to get ready, with two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a living room. They loved having their own private space away from the crowd before the festivities began. The camping area was also perfect for the number of trailers and tent campers who joined us for the weekend. The three cabins worked out wonderfully for my parents, a family with a newborn, and the father of the bride. The bathhouse was clean, spacious, and very convenient for everyone staying in the camping area. And then there was the ceremony location—it was absolutely breathtaking. The view was incredible, and the log benches and arch my daughter had chosen were beautifully set up when we arrived. You truly could not ask for a more beautiful backdrop for a wedding ceremony. One of the most special moments of the entire weekend was when Steve and Rhonda personally pulled my daughter down the aisle on a horse drawn carriage. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture, and it made an already magical moment even more meaningful. It is something our family will always remember. Throughout the entire weekend, Steve and Rhonda were available whenever we needed them. They were attentive, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help made such a difference. I cannot recommend Ragged Mountain Events highly enough. If you are looking for a beautiful, relaxed, easygoing weekend wedding experience without sacrificing professionalism, this is the place. Our guests left with nothing but compliments and admiration for the venue, the grounds, and the entire experience. Most importantly, we never felt like just another wedding booking. We felt like family.
