Vecoma was the perfect choice for my rustic elegance wedding theme. The outdoor ceremony location is beautiful with a stone pathway leading to the arbor looking over the yellow river in a beautifully wooded area. The indoor portion has a calm quaint rustic feeling with plenty of room for large groups but intimate enough for small. The Vecoma staff are wonderful and friendly. They went above and beyond fulfilling our needs and answering all of our questions in a timely manner making planning easy and stress free. The catering is all done on site which is great and they are very flexible to ensure you have the wedding of your dreams. I cannot thank Vecoma enough for all of the work they put into helping me plan for one of the biggest and happiest days of my life. For the amount of customer service and care you receive as well as the beauty of the venue you truly cannot beat the price. Classy, affordable, perfect for all weddings.

Amazing riverfront outdoor wedding! Very nice, secluded, and quaint. Very intimate and romantic setting overlooking the Yellow River. Reception was indoor/outdoor upstairs patio with a gorgeous view of the garden/ landscaping. Food provided by Vecoma, very good caterers, photography was also provided by Vecoma, high quality, exquisite, photos, we chose the DJ at Vecoma as well, he was excellent, made it really fun. We were overall completely satisfied with our entire event. Vecoma exceeded our expectations for the limited budget we had available. I absolutely appreciated all the assistance they gave us for the very short time frame less/ than 60 days...lol, yes, unbelievable I know!!! The staff was more than helpful with planning & coordinating this event. Everything turned out incredibly perfect.

I can honestly say I don’t even know where to begin. I am a bride on a serious budget. I’m the type of person you would say has a “champagne taste with a beer budget.” I wanted a venue that I could realistically afford but it still had to be beautiful, romantic as well as stunning. After almost 7 months of searching and visiting venues I found the Vecoma at the Yellow River. It was everything I was looking for. Literally, from the drapery on the ceilings to the river behind the georgeous ceremony area. You can have your wedding inside or out. I love options.
The décor, food, set up and breakdown is included in the price. The food is delicious! We tried the food during the food tasting we were invited to. There are plenty of options for every taste. The décor is to die for. Beautiful wall décor, and greenery. They include centerpieces if you choose or use your own. The Vecoma is just georgous all around. The outside (front and back) to the deck and the inside will take your breath away.
But the absolute best part about the Vecoma is the wonderful people. I felt like I was the only bride in the world. They are so personable and answered all of my 2,365,158,265 questions with a smile and without making me feel like a bother. From the staff to the actual owners I always felt like a princess. They 100% saved our day and we forever grateful for it.

Perfect wedding venue!!

We were married on a Friday evening at Vecoma, and it was absolutely perfect in every way. We used their photographer and DJ and were thrilled with both. Vecoma made planning easy, as so many of the details are included, and we always felt like our wedding was important to every staff member. I did not worry about one detail the day of the wedding, and everything was beautiful. The food was delicious, the drinks were flowing, and everyone had a ball. Not only is it an absolutely gorgeous venue (with not one but two lovely backup ceremony locations in case of rain - which we had!), it is the best value hands down in the Atlanta area. Our wedding looked like it cost twice what we paid. I can't say enough good things about Vecoma!

A couple weeks ago, I attended a wedding at Vecoma at Yellow River. The wedding was fantastic. Everything went as planned and the venue was perfect for the occasion. The staff made the entire wedding easy for my friends. The events were planned ahead of time and everybody enjoyed themselves.
One thing I noticed about Vecoma, is the atmosphere. The wooded acres really add a sense of peace and calm that a typical indoor venue would not provide. The bride and groom looked very pleased with their choice and thanks to the natural lighting, all of the photos turned out great. With Vecoma, they handle everything. You do not have to get in contact with a lot of different agencies and companies to help you with what you are trying to accomplish. It is all taken care of by one great company and they are glad to help.
It is also affordable that is why my friends chose it. It is not super expensive, so they were able to spend money on other things their wedding needed. The catering was fantastic, and there was plenty of food to go around. Several people enjoyed the food and there was even enough for some of us to take home. The bride and groom were telling me about how good Vecoma was at taking requests and how it is really easy to communicate your wedding ideas with them. I definitely recommend this venue and this service for any new couple that is considering getting married in the great outdoors.

One of the finest places for a quaint and lovely wedding in Atlanta, Georgia is Vecoma at the Yellow River. It is the perfect place for both an indoor and outdoor wedding. There is a lovely brick building that is spectacular for an indoor wedding or a beautifully decorated garden area for an outdoor ceremony as well. While there is not a list of vendors or anything in the way of packages offered by the reception area, the venue is very affordable and will make up for that in beauty. Furthermore, there are a ton of great attributes to this particular venue. Firstly, it is located just outside of Atlanta, so it is close to the city as well close to accommodation for out of town guests as well as other city amenities. However, it is in a quiet portion of the city to create the illusion of an intimate and private wedding. Overall, there are various areas for the bride and groom to change as well as for the bridal parties to get ready on the premises. The staff is by far one of the best attributes of the wedding, though. They owners are friendly and considerate when booking the wedding. It adds a personal flare to the whole event. Also, the staff is meticulous in making the day as special as it can be. From directing guests to helping with the food, the staff was remarkable. Furthermore, there is no designated outdoor area on the premises for a wedding ceremony or reception, but there are many opportunities to tailor the space to the exact wedding venue the bride and groom desires.

I recently planned and attended a wedding at Vecoma at the Yellow River. This was my first time planning a wedding, and as a young male, I expected to be run over and mistreated. My experience with Vecoma was the complete opposite. In fact, it may be misleading to say I planned the wedding at all. I set out a list of parameters and they presented a package that was within budget and exceeded expectations. The ceremony area is wood-side and sits on a very pretty acreage of land. There is also a river that runs behind the ceremony area. The outside deck overlooks the land and is also where the drinks and food is served. The package for the food and drinks were competitive and tasty. The guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and a DJ was made available for everyone to dance the night away afterwards. The entire experience from planning to execution was magnificent. I did not have to run around on wedding day or do much of anything. To an outsider, I was just another guest taking in a lovely wedding. I recommend Vecoma to anyone looking for a unforgettable day. The location is easily accessible; it is right off Stone Mountain Highway and should be easy for guests to find. My only concern revolved around the outdoor concept a bit. Even though the reception was at 7pm, I was still soaked through with sweat; the wedding was in June. Keep in mind that this is Georgia and summers are extremely hot and humid. If you plan a wedding at Vecoma, aim for Spring or late Fall.

When my husband and I were looking for the perfect place to have our wedding, we already had a vision in our minds. After looking at several places, we luckily came across Vecoma!! We could not have asked for a more perfect place! The river, the outdoor fire place, the gardens, the deck, the bridal suite, and so much more were exactly what we wanted. Then we looked at the price and couldn't believe it! What a great deal. We were even able to provide our guests with an open bar. This place is so special to us that we are having our daughter's dedication done here in a couple of weeks! We couldn't have asked for better service and a welcoming staff. I highly suggest you take the time to go see Vecoma in person and book your special event with their amazing team.

I would recommend Vecoma to anyone. Our wedding was held outdoors, thanks to the beautiful weather...it's a perfect spot for an outdoor wedding. There's a beautiful arbor you can decorate, a river behind, and plenty of nature. We invited about 300 guests, and were still able to stay fairly close to our budget. I used the photographer and DJ too (which were great). The food is absolutely delicious, and the catering staff there is great as well. There is a lodge with a deck on the back. Vecoma really did make our day special. The wedding planners are especially nice and extremely knowledgeable.

Vecoma is the perfect wedding location. We got married outside by the river and it was A M A Z I N G!! It was so pretty. And our wedding was in the middle of the summer but the trees gave wonderful shade and kept us all from melting out there! Then the reception inside was gorgeous as well. I can not think of one thing that I would have changed. The staff, especially Caroline, are all wonderful!!!
