Nestled in the heart of Shelbyville, Indiana's nationally recognized historical district, The Charles Davis Mansion is a meticulously restored 1898 Victorian Queen Anne masterpiece that blends timeless elegance with modern luxury. This USMC veteran-owned gem spans 7,000 square feet across three floors, offering an interactive experience that leaves everyone in awe.
Explore the many social spaces around the property from our 20'x40' wrap around front porch to our nearly 1/2 acre large enclosed rear courtyard. Your guests will definitely want their picture taken with Ms. Magnolia, our 100+ year old Magnolia glowing in lights, whose canopy spans nearly 60'. (You'll see her in the pics). Our outdoor games include XL Connect 4, XL Jenga, Ax Throw (not real), frisbee & Bocce Ball.
We provide general setup/ tear down for our private events along with all tables, chairs, cocktail tables, linens, use of our large decor collection, & when applicable our dance floor, Bluetooth PA System & portable bar. For small intimate events our guests have access to our Butler's Pantry China & Crystal serving collection.
Ideal for intimate gatherings (up to 75 guests), Micro-Weddings, Murder Mystery events, and private family celebrations. We can also provide exclusive access for up to 10 overnight guests. Amenities abound, from a state-of-the-art executive kitchen with commercial-grade appliances to our 3rd Floor Lounge, half-acre gated grounds with multiple patios, a grand wrap-around porch, & yes you MUST try our new AI Video Scavenger Hunt. It will take your guests on a quest across all 3 floors of the mansion!

The Charles Davis Mansion is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the home’s decadent beauty and elegant charm. Bill, the owner, was truly a delight—his passion and personality shine so brightly, and he adds so much warmth and character to the entire experience.
We hosted a bridal shower here, and it could not have been more perfect. The space was fabulous for entertaining guests, and everyone loved exploring, touring, and capturing photos and videos of the breathtaking interior. The atmosphere made the celebration not only beautiful but also so much fun.
We are already looking forward to our next opportunity to return to this incredible venue. Highly recommend!
