One of the most popular wedding locations in Savannah, Whitefield Chapel serves as an ideal place to say, “I do.” This historic chapel has hosted weddings for superstar Paula Deen, actress Mandy Moore, and country singer Joe Nickles. The National Society of Colonial Dames donated Whitefield Chapel to Bethesda in 1918. Construction was postponed due to World War I and was completed and dedicated in 1925. The chapel is nestled under majestic oaks lining Bethesda’s scenic campus and welcomes more than 20,000 visitors each year.
