Located in the heart of Union Square and the hotel district, August Hall is one of San Francisco’s original masterpieces. The unique space was originally built in the 1890s as a Victorian Playhouse by celebrated architect August Headman, where it later showed films such as "Stage Door" in the 1940s and featured the premiere of Alfred Hitchcock’s film "Vertigo" on May 9, 1958. Today, this historic venue has been reborn as August Hall, serving as the perfect location to host your next corporate event, private concert, art show, film screening, wedding, reception, fundraiser or gala. Perfect venue - An Eventective User from India

This is definitely the best wedding venue i have seen.The huge speakers will blow one's mind away.It's the best place to listen trance music. Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, and David Guetta show up very often in that place.It was the first nightclub in the world to implement Lake Contour 26 loudspeaker processors for audio management.Ruby Skye has played host to a long list of world-renowned DJs.I prefer ruby skye as the best wedding venue due to this reasons.Ruby skye is SF's best special events venue.It's a nightclub and special event venue with 15,000 square feet and 4 distinctively different areas to accommodate up to 900.Two levels of HOT bodies make for one of the best dance clubs in the country.Night club is beautiful and sound quality is amazing. Saw Fatboy Slim, and it was the perfect venue in SF. Parking across for 20 bucks all night is a good deal in the area.Ruby Skye's sound system consists of a 5-way EAW Avalon DC1 system that has been modified by JK Sound to use EAW KF series drivers. The system includes eight EAW DC1 three-way cabinets, six DCT2 supertweeter arrays and 20 DCS2 subwoofers capable of 140db of bass energy. It was the first nightclub in the world to implement Lake Contour 26 loudspeaker processors for audio management.It is also a popular location for the 106 KMEL House of Soul concerts that the radio station KMEL hosts from time to time.The nightclub is housed in the Native Sons of the Golden West building at 420 Mason Street.it had become the Regency III movie theater.I prefer this.
