About 111 Minna Gallery

Established in 1993 in downtown San Francisco, 111 Minna Gallery is in the business of Art and Leisure. The gallery showcases a unique blend of local and international artists, world class DJs, live performance and film screenings in an elegantly urban and ever-changing 4,000 square foot space. The gallery is open to the public and nightly on a rotating schedule for special events. The space at 111 Minna Gallery evokes the dramatic effect of an urban industrial warehouse with 16 feet high walls, floor to ceiling windows facing out on 2nd Street, exposed piping overhead and original hardwood floors. The sophisticated modern design of the space is animated by a 25 foot long rolled steel and copper bar created by Bay Area sculptor Jud Bergeron, multifunctional theatrical lighting designed by Terry Ohm of Impact Lighting and an eclectic mix of modern and antique furnishings.

The larger of our two event spaces, the 2nd Street gallery can fit up to 300 people. With a full liquor bar and espresso bar available for use, the 2nd Street Gallery is a great space to host corporate events, company parties, cocktail receptions and so much more. Located only a 5 minute walk from Bart or Muni, the 2nd Street Gallery is easily accessible, extremely dynamic and beautifully decorated with wooden furnishings, brick walls, hardwood floors and a charming casual atmosphere right in the heart of San Francisco's historic Financial District.

111 Minna Gallery can be rented out as a whole or as individual spaces (the Zappa Room and 2nd Street Gallery are the two room options with 2nd Street being the larger option). The entire space can fit up to 500 people and has available for use two full bars, full A/V capabilities, an in-house espresso bar and features monthly rotating exhibitions by local and international artists. It's a great space to come visit during the weekdays since we have the coffee shop open during the day and happy hour in the evenings. The space can also be rented out privately or semi-privately. Located only a 5 minute walk from Muni or Bart, 111 Minna Gallery is a beautiful and dynamic event space right in the heart of downtown San Francisco's historic Financial District and is great for entertaining small or large parties.
